Productions 2000 was established in 1999 during the dawn of our Rainbow Nation. It was clear that the time had come to rather focus on what we have in common, than on our differences. To start writing the story for our future, together. With no prejudice - with an open mind.

Since our early years, we have been on the most incredible journey. Technology developed in leaps and bounds. Our political landscape became challenging. With social media - personal development went through a huge paradigm shift.

 

We’ve lived through a pandemic. As a nation, we are faced with crime, energy and infrastructure challenges. All these factors and more, have a huge impact on script development and audience perceptions. We move with the times to create values-based educational theatre.
